Dr. Jared Tavernier, DMD – Dentist

Dr. Jared Tavernier has been leading the Ninety Six Family Density Office since July 2015.   Dr. Tavernier’s passion is to serve the community and ensure his patients feel positive about their dental health. Jared enjoys playing golf and an occasional M&M (followed by brushing, of course).  Jared is married to his beautiful wife, Kayla, and they have two beautiful children, Martha and Jack! Oh, and we can’t forget his first child, Owen, a whoodle pup!

Dr. Brian Ferry, DMD - Dentist

Dr. Ferry brings over 20 years of dental experience to Ninety Six Family Dentistry, where he supports Dr. Tavernier in providing exceptional patient care. A graduate of Rutgers Dental School with high honors, he previously ran his own practice before relocating to Greenwood in 2024. Outside the office, Dr. Ferry is an avid bass fisherman who loves spending time with his wife, Erica, their two sons, and their dog, Roxy.

Haylee
Registered Dental Hygienist

Haylee has been part of the Ninety Six Family Dentistry team since May 2017 and has eight years of experience in the dental field. The most rewarding part of her job is making a difference in patients’ lives by improving their oral health and building strong, long-term relationships.

Outside the office, Haylee loves spending time with her husband, Devon, their 3-year-old son, Barrett, and their dog, Hazel. She enjoys shopping, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, and snacking on M&M's whenever she gets the chance.

Tara
Registered Dental Hygienist

If you hear “Go Wildcats” in the office, it is coming from Ninety Six High School’s biggest fan, Tara Crawford. Tara has been an integral member of the Ninety Six Dentistry Family for over sixteen years. In addition to cheering on her Wildcats, Tara and husband, David, enjoy watching and supporting her son, Payton, play baseball.

Dental Assistant

Cindy’s passion for the people of Ninety Six and surrounding counties makes her career very rewarding.    Cindy has been with the Ninety Six Dentistry family since July 2015.  While outside the office, Cindy enjoys spending time at the beach.  She and her husband, Mike, have a son, Colton, and four grandchildren!

Rhonda
Dental Assistant

Rhonda comes to Ninety Six Family Dentistry with over thirty years of dental experience.  She is originally from Abbeville, SC, and has been with Ninety Six Family Dentistry since September of 2019.  Rhonda enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and scrapbooking.  Fun fact about Rhonda, she loves anything with cinnamon in it.

Angelia
Patient Coordinator

Originally from Lancaster, South Carolina, Angelia joined the Ninety Six Family Dentistry team as Patient Coordinator in December of 2021. When she’s not soaking up the rays at the beach or a local lake, Angelia loves to travel, spend time with her dogs or dig into a delicious Mexican meal with all the chips & salsa.

Alexa
Front Office Staff

Alexa is our Front Desk and Patient Coordinator and has been with Ninety Six Family Dentistry since January 2023. With 2–3 years of experience in the dental field, she loves helping patients achieve a healthy smile.

A big South Carolina Gamecocks sports fan, Alexa enjoys watching football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Outside of sports, she spends time with her spouse, Corbie, their daughter, Mary, and their dogs—Kona and Millie. She loves Reese’s, pasta, sewing, and embroidering, and she holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Healthcare Leadership.

Hannah Grace
Dental Assistant

Hannah is one of our amazing dental assistants here at Ninety Six Family Dentistry. A Ninety Six local, she’s been part of our team for almost a year and loves helping patients feel comfortable at every visit.

Outside the office, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Kade, and their three Boykin Spaniels—Trigger, Tuck, and Koda. Her favorites include anything from Chick-fil-A and Reese’s Cups. No matter where she is, Hannah brings a smile to everyone around her!

Dr. Andrew Owings
Dentist

With over twenty-six years at Ninety Six Dentistry, Dr. Andrew Owings has been the pioneer of the dental community. His support of the Ninety Six High School football team is unmeasurable. Known around town as ‘Andy’, he enjoys a nicely cooked Rib eye steak followed by vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Dr. Owings prides himself on thinking outside the box and marching to the beat of his own drum.

Susan Batchelder
Dental Assistant

Originally from Texas, Susan is now living in the mountains of western North Carolina. Susan is our Dental Assistant to Dr. Owings and started with us in March of 2019. Susan enjoys meditating, cooking, and international travel to places of spiritual pilgrimage.
